DEVELOpMENT

Rowers on our Development Program are a mix of those that are coming up from our Novice Program, new members with previous experience who need some time to shake off the rust, and those that can not commit to the practices and training of our Competitive Program.

The goal of Nashville Rowing's Masters Development Program is to provide athletes the chance to continue learning and improving in Sweep & Sculling boats without the pressure and consistency required of high-level race preparation. Athletes will have the chance to progress to our Competitive Program, if they and the coaches want, where they can continue to put those skills and athleticism to work towards a racing schedule throughout the year.

Where?

Team and boat practices will be run out of the Hamilton Creek Marina on Percy Priest Lake during the Fall, Spring, Summer, and on Saturdays during the Winter. When weather pushes us indoors, practices will be at Cornelia Fort Airpark.

Seasons

  • Fall | July 1st through November 1st

  • Winter Training League | November 7th through February 27th

  • Spring | March 14th through June 30th
