2026 Summer Camps
Learn-to-row
Our learn-to-row camps are the perfect opportunity for prospective middle and high school athletes to learn the ropes of the sport in a focused environment. Camps will run from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and will cover all of the fundamentals, including the basics of the rowing stroke, caring for and preparing equipment, and how to take care of yourself as an athlete. By the end of a week of learn-to-row, athletes will be equipped to join our fall programming. Athletes desiring to do more rowing Our Saturday session will include an exhibition row where parents can come out and see the progress their rowers have made over the course of the week!
Camp Dates: June 1st-6th, June 8th-13th, June 22nd-27th, July 6th-11th, Camps will run from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m

High Performance Camp
Nashville Rowing Club’s High Performance Summer Camp is returning for 2026! This camp is designed for U23 and U19 athletes that are looking for an opportunity to step up their training this summer with guidance from experience coaches, row alongside some of the Nashville area’s top athletes, and an option to race at RowFest in July.
Camp Dates: June 30- July 17. The camp will feature daily water sessions in the early morning six times per week, 5:30-8:00am.
All coaches on staff are required to have a First Aid/CPR certification, SafeSport training, Boater Safety education, and a detailed background check. All of our coaches are USRowing certified.
Fees cover the cost of coaching staff, launch gas, NRC HP Unisuit, and 2027 NRC HP Camp T-Shirt! Rowfest costs are not included and will be assessed separately.
RowFest National Championships - July 11 - 13 - Ford Lake Park, Ypsilanti, MI
RowFest is the camp's regatta opportunity. Only committed competitors will be asked to travel to and compete at the regatta. As such, the costs for RowFest are not included in your initial registration costs. Athletes who do compete will be asked to pay for their entries and travel arrangements as a separate charge. We will travel as a team to the venue.

Race performance resume and 1 coach recommendation
2k times are target ranges for selection for this camp. All applications will be considered individually based on strength of past race performance and camp availability. Please contact daniel.ors@nashvillerowing.org for any questions about the selection process.
Small Boat Camp
Are you looking to continue rowing during the summer break, but need a little more flexibility in which weeks you're out on the water? Are you ready to spend some time honing your sculling skills and building confidence in small boats? Then our Small Boat Camps are the right choice for you! Sessions run from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Monday through Friday, out of the Hamilton Creek Sailboat Marina. During a week of Small Boat Camp, athletes should expect to develop their capabilities as scullers, boat captains, and teammates through a variety of drills and exercises designed to keep things light and enjoyable. Fees cover the cost of coaching staff, launch gas, and a 2026 NRC Summer Camp tee-shirt!
